"Brutal Attack on R. R. Pandayan Saheb Raises Alarming Questions"

R. R. Pandayan Saheb, Chairperson of the Jai Bhim Sena, was violently attacked by three unknown individuals near Chembur, Mumbai. The incident occurred around 8:40 PM, just outside his office when he was waiting for a rickshaw, unwell and alone. Suddenly, he was hit from behind with a rod, fell to the ground, and was beaten continuously.

Pandayan Saheb suspects that this was not a random attack but a targeted assault connected, against whom he had filed multiple complaints regarding illegal detentions. He believes that this officer is behind the attack, possibly through his associated gang.

Even after submitting all legal evidence to higher authorities and courts, including the High Court, Pandayan Saheb alleges that no action was taken, and the accused officer remained untouched. He expressed concern over the silence of the police system and the lack of accountability, saying that officers who take bribes and use their power for personal revenge must be punished.

Despite suffering fractures and severe injuries—especially to his hand, ribs, and abdomen—he remains determined. He said:

"I am a diabetic and kidney patient. My sugar was over 400, yet I was attacked in public. This shows how broken our justice and police systems are."

He also said the attack was orchestrated to silence his voice:

"This is not just a physical attack—this is an attack on truth, justice, and the people I represent."

Call for Justice :-

Senior police officers have begun reviewing CCTV footage. Pandayan Saheb’s statement has been recorded and an official investigation is now underway. However, he raised doubts about the sincerity of the process, citing how police often protect their own rather than the victim.

He urged authorities:

"Punish those who misuse police power. I want justice, not sympathy. And I want it through law."

Meanwhile, his supporters and social activists have condemned the attack, demanding swift arrest and strict action against the culprits. The incident has created tension in political and Ambedkarite circles across Mumbai.
